We are committed to providing the highest level of client care to each and every one of our clients, with client satisfaction and transparency being of the upmost importance to our firm. Our pricing is 100% transparent, we have no hidden fees, and we provide our clients with a full breakdown of the costs involved from the outset.

Our sister company RS Property Lawyers is our dedicated residential conveyancing arm and offers a fixed fee service, meaning that the fee quotation given to you at the outset of your transaction is what you will pay on completion.

There may be times where we do need to charge a supplementary fee, should it come to light that additional work needs to be carried out during the course of your transaction. However, should this occur we would never charge you an additional fee without advising your first and ensuring you are in agreement before proceeding.

The examples below will provide you with further information and more certainty around the key stages of your matter and importantly, any elements that are not included in our fee – for example Search fees and Land Registry fees if you are buying a property.

Depending of the type of transaction, our legal fees start from:

Sales – £1,000 plus VAT

Purchases – £1,100 plus VAT

Transfers of Equity – £800 plus VAT

Remortgages – £900 plus VAT

CHAPS fee for sending funds – £35 plus VAT

During the course of your transaction, we will have to pay a variety of third parties costs, referred to as Disbursements. These are costs which are paid out on your behalf and are not fees we are charging you. Typical disbursements involved include:

Searches Pack (purchase only) – £330

Land Registry Registration Fee (purchase only) – Between £40-£500

Land Registry Office Copies/Searches – £8.80 per document/search

Stamp Duty Land Tax – Dependent upon the purchase price and your unique situation

VAT is currently charged at 20%.
